Number 4...

The best marcara on the block; Lash Injection by Too Faced Cosmetics. It covers, It doesn't clump, It gives long lashes, It stays on, It pulls off your lashes in little tubes when your washing your face. Somehow this  makeup is a long lasting mascara that also comes off easily when needed. Hard to explain i'm really trying, but look at the reviews it's awesome. One of the best mascaras.

Number 5...

Forget chalky, forget liquid and weak, it's time to wear a real women's eye-liner. Okay all eye liner types serve there purpose, but Eye Studio, Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner by Maybelline is not only top quality,but afordable, long wearing, and full of pigment. Maybelline Eye Studio,Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner (TM) also provides drama when needed as well as a clean sharp line with the right brush, so my top 10 for fall is going to be a two parter this time because you'll need a great eyeliner brush to make it work.  So count both of them as five, and get over it already. This Mybelline eyeliner does come with a brush, however I recommend MAC Studio's Precise Eyeliner Brush #210 So there you have it. Buy both of those, and look like this...

Benefit Lemon-aid. This is a love and a must have.  This product provides a rich creamy yellow based primer for lids. It removes the red/purple skin tone eye-lid colors and leaves a smooth even skin-tone color along with the perfect primer for all day eye shadow wear. Lemon-aid smells great too, yes lemony and yummy. Plus it has been noted, that it's impossible for me to resist the retro packaging of Benefit Cosmetics. Elizebeth Arden's eight hour cream. I have been using this product for about ten years now, and I still love it. It's a classic that has been on the beauty scene since the 1930's. It is so multi-faceted, it can be used on your cuticles, on rough spots, under eyes, around the nose, and on the lips... There are so many uses for this all-in-one product it's certainly worth the money. It will last forever. This is a must have for fall, when the wind is starting to pick up, and cold and flu season is around the corner, this luxurious cream will do it all, and more.

Why you gots to get dressed in the morning.

Why? Because if you don't get dressed FIRST thing in the morning, after getting the kids off to school, and the chores done around the house, and after answering the door countless times, and finally getting dinner started....Wait dinner? Yeah, that is why you must get dressed first thing in the morning.  There are quite a few websites out there that promote organizing your life through routine.  I used to subscribe to FLY LADY, which was a good website for promoting house cleanliness, along with self care. The fly lady's rule was "dress to shoes each morning" meaning before you do anything else get dressed all the way to shoes, including make-up.  Does this help you out? Yes, I would say being dressed, hair done, and make-up applied does help a women to be more productive throughout her day.  This would work by have a business women ready to go to work each day, encouraging a timely arrival to work, no rushing around. Getting dressed first thing in the morning would also help a stay-at-home wife/mom to be ready to run errands at any given time, and be ready to answer the door. Most importantly it helps a stay-at-home to feel better about her self. How you ask? Because, can you feel ready for life when you look like this....

Or... you get get it together and look like this...

So it's a bit of an exaggeration, but really feeling good all day is so worth the few minutes it takes to shower and get ready. The day is yours seize it!

Jeunesse

I love everything about the Harlem Renaissance, especially the artistic elements that came out of that ten year block.  Jeunesse means to me youth, but in a fun way that doesn't require others approval. The Harlem Renaissance came about, after all, through personal discovery and exploration, and through respecting past history. Style is so that, discovering what works for each of us, and by taking ques from those who have gone before us, and already know.  And as Josephine Baker once said "Beautiful? It's all a question of luck. I was born with good legs. As for the rest... beautiful, no. Amusing, yes." So I'm going to work with what I got, and so what if most if it may be my amusing nature....
