Jeunesse

I love everything about the Harlem Renaissance, especially the artistic elements that came out of that ten year block.  Jeunesse means to me youth, but in a fun way that doesn't require others approval. The Harlem Renaissance came about, after all, through personal discovery and exploration, and through respecting past history. Style is so that, discovering what works for each of us, and by taking ques from those who have gone before us, and already know.  And as Josephine Baker once said "Beautiful? It's all a question of luck. I was born with good legs. As for the rest... beautiful, no. Amusing, yes." So I'm going to work with what I got, and so what if most if it may be my amusing nature....
